Okay, first of all, foreign films are art, and it's not too much to ask to respect their native language. Secondly, a well written death makes a book a classic. After all, Travis would never have been able to grow as a young adult or even as a man if he hadn't been able to put Old Yeller down before the dog attacked his brother or his mother!
